Not Golf

Made for GGJ 2024. 

What makes golf fun? Absolutely nothing. It’s the most boring game in the world. Relaxing? Sure, if that’s what you’re into, but fun? Objectively, no. We decided to use the power of video games to make golf fun for once.

Overview:

• Synchronous Multiplayer - Players are in control at all times, no waiting for your turn (local splitscreen)
• Freerunning - Players can run around the course freely
  Combat - Players can engage in combat with each other in order to interfere with scoring points*
• Goal - First to 7 points wins, you score points by putting the golf ball in the hole
• No Par - doesn’t matter how many times someone hits the ball, there is no par system
• Power-ups - There are various items that modify gameplay which randomly spawn across the course
  
  *Combat was not implemented in the game jam build. You can body block though.. haha
